Industriall Bangladesh Council at a press conference at the National Press Club on Tuesday said that they found nothing for workers in the proposed national budget.
The platform secretary general, Salahuddin Shapon, said that the government did not make any allocation for increasing wages and other benefits for the government.
He placed a five-point demand, including revision of the budget keeping housing, pension, ration and others benefit for the workers.
If the government failed to address the demand of the workers, IBC would hold a march from the Press Club to parliament on June 24, he announced.
IBC chairman Gias Uddin Ahmed, vice-chairman Amirul Haque Amin, central leaders Towhidur Rahman, Babul Akter, Kamrul Anam and Nurul Islam were present, among others, said a press release.
